A slow-feeder bowl is a maze: your dog has to work around the ridges to reach the kibble.
It falls into the hollows instead of piling up in the middle. Your dog can no longer take big mouthfuls: it picks up the kibble piece by piece, working around the spirals. The meal lasts longer, and your dog chews instead of inhaling.
This is a large size, designed for medium to large dogs — the ones that empty a standard bowl in thirty seconds. For a cat or a very small dog, this diameter is too big: a smaller model is a better choice.
The same ridges slow the water down and limit splashing when your dog drinks quickly or when the bowl is moved. A smooth, one-piece surface: a rinse under the tap is enough, and there are no corners where kibble gets stuck.

Mon chien adore.
