Description
Your dog has no choice: the morning walk, the evening walk, the drizzle that lasts all day. He comes home soaked, smells of wet dog, shakes himself off in the hallway and takes an hour to dry on the sofa.
Gaspard keeps him dry from neck to tail. You get home, take it off in two moves, and his coat is dry underneath.
What keeps him dry
Waterproof, windproof fabric. Rain beads up and runs off his back instead of soaking through to the fur. The wind doesn't get through either: he stays warm for the whole walk.
A high collar that tightens. It rises high on the neck, where water seeps under ordinary coats. An elastic cord adjusts it with one hand.
A long back, down to the tail. The coat covers the whole length of the back and comes down over the sides: that's where the rain falls, and that's where he's protected.
Visible in the dark. Reflective trim runs around the whole edge. In a car's headlights your dog can be seen from far away, even in winter when it's dark by 5 pm.
Easy to put on, even on a wriggly dog

He keeps his harness on. An opening in the back lets the leash through to the harness worn underneath.
He moves freely. The front legs stay clear: he runs, jumps, rolls over and comes back to you without being hindered.
It doesn't ride up in the wind. Loops at the back slip around the hind legs if you wish. They're optional: many dogs do fine without them.
Choosing the right size
The measurement that matters is the back length: from the base of the neck, where the collar sits, to the base of the tail. Measure your dog standing, with a soft tape measure.

Our tips to get it right
- Go by the back, not the weight. A long, slim dog needs more length than a stocky dog of the same weight. Breeds and weights are guidelines; the back length is what counts.
- Between two sizes: for a slim dog or a puppy, take the smaller one; for a sturdy dog with a broad chest or a thick coat, take the larger one.
- What buyers say: a dog of about 30 kg is perfectly comfortable in XXL; for a 24 kg dog, L fits better than XL; M is still a little big for a 4-month-old labrador puppy, who will wear it for longer.
- Check the collar opening. Your dog's neck should stay under the value in the table; the elastic cord then tightens the collar to the right fit.
- Not for small dogs. Size S starts around 10 kg and 46 cm of back length. Below that, the coat would be too long.
- Wrong size? You have 30 days to send it back.
